2015 Della's Block Chardonnay

Producing only 99 cases, the age of this vineyard block requires it to be harvested by hand. The ripe clusters are ferried to the winery where the juice is pressed directly into a combination of new and neutral French oak barrels. Each barrel is stirred during fermentation to enhance body and mouth feel and to encourage a healthy fermentation. We allow the wine to go through its malolactic fermentation slowly and without inoculation.

2014 River's Edge Pinot Noir

With only 118 cases produced, these Pinot Noir grapes were harvested at night to ensure they kept their evening chill upon arrival at the winery. After being hand sorted to remove any leaves or green berries, half of the fruit was crushed and the other left whole cluster. The crushed fruit and whole clusters were then combined into one fermenter. This whole cluster fermentation gives the wine added structure and flavor complexity. After a slow and cool fermentation, featuring hand punch downs 3 times daily, the wine was gently pressed and aged in premium French oak barrels for 14 months.

2013 Gianna's Block Petite Sirah

With only 190 cases produced, these Petite Sirah grapes were harvested by hand in the early morning to ensure that the fruit is cool. The cold fruit will maintain its fruit flavor better then warm fruit picked in the heat of the sun. After being hand sorted, the fruit is fermented in small open top fermenters and punched down several times daily to maximize the extraction of color and intense flavors. When we feel the wine has the appropriate flavor and structure it is gently pressed into premium French oak barrels where it will age for 28 months.

2014 Nonno's Block Zinfandel

With just 95 cases produced for the third vintage from this particular vineyard block, the fruit was harvested at night and then destemmed to open top fermenters. The crushed grapes were kept cold for 4 days to extract the beautiful color and classic Zinfandel flavors, followed by 18 days of fermentation. After pressing, the wine was put to barrel. We used a combination of new French oak and new American oak where the wine was aged for 16 months.
